Art workshops...
They appeared as everything before, a bit by accident. Someone called, asked, I made my first activities... And so it happened. Thats how the artistic workshops for ladies were born. Were usually busy woman can have a little time for themselfs, have a chat in interesting companionship and, by chance learn thing or two about art techniques. Learning silk painting, felting or decoupage gives an opportunity to return to daily life with something new, something personal made by noone other but oneself. I call it a flirt with a art, and i know that in part of those who attended it developed into something more than it. I also run workshops for children and people, who were less fortunate than most of us in life. My need of running such a workshops is connected with my need of sharing my knowlage with others, as well as curiosity of new people. Commonly I hear a qestion if organizing such a workshop Im not feared of creating a future competition? I know that modern word declare such rules, but I think that sharing my passion with others, showing them that art is something that can be part of our daily life. I love to think that I add small brick to the world with people who are sensitive and who can judge works of other artists, people who will be aware consuments of their art. Agata Okrzesik
